Jonesing for color wheels, Edgar Allan Poe, and Spring

It’s finally getting slightly warmer in Chicagoland lately (although it’s back in the 40s again), so this painting gave me the feels on a couple of levels. I’m more of an Autumn girl myself (like everyone, eh?), but Spring is amazing after the six months of Arctic greyness that is our Winter. Plus, I’m always way more inclined to work out if I can do it outside. And let’s face it, I need all the motivation I can get. Couches are comfy. Here’s what else I’ve been scoping out this week:

color-wheel-necklace

I am admittedly a color-centric girl, so this color wheel necklace is my jam.

mushroom-necklace

Speaking of necklaces meeting things I’m into, let’s talk mushroom necklaces. Once I get my apartment tour going you’re going to see more than a few of these bad boys.

edgar-allan-poe-tote

I’ve been eyeballing this Out of Print Edgar Allan Poe tote for a while and ModCloth has it for 30% off! I have a burgeoning problem with acquiring tote bags. Send help. In the form of a giant tote bag.

// I keep seeing these YumBox compartment lunch boxes and am obsessing. I don’t even commute or need one, I just love all the little areas for sauce and mini foods.

// This Indian-style cauliflower though.

// “I love you like a hobbit loves second breakfast.” Mm, second breakfast.

// Ooh, DIY lace crowns to make us all into royalty with a little Mod Podge.

Happy Friday!
