Apple cider Moscow mule

Apple cider Moscow mule recipe from @bijouxandbits

Oh hey, boozy apple cider. Now we’re thinking Fall, right? Let’s get our apple-y, ginger-y, cinnamon-y booze game on. Traditional Moscow mules have vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice, so the jump to a Fall-inspired version isn’t too far, considering the ginger beer is already included.

I added some hard apple cider and swapped regular vodka for a ginger-flavored version, added some festive cinnamon sticks and a slice of apple, and we’ve got a super refreshing seasonal drink.

This drink is pretty flexible in terms of ingredients. Sub in some regular apple cider (since you may be stocking up at local orchards in the coming months), add the lime back in if you like, or omit the vodka for a lighter buzz. Add it to your Fall party lineup and watch it go quickly.

Hello! Can’t wait to try this! I was just wondering what Hard cider you used- did you use like an Angry Orchard hard cider or did you make your own? Thanks!

I used some gifted Myer Farm ginger vodka, but since it’s pretty diluted by other liquids, you can totally go mid- or lower-grade, too, with no problemos! ๐Ÿ™‚
